Techno was an overall bad player. He didn't integrate himself into the tribe at all. He didn't have any alliances, and I wasn't surprised to see him voted out so early. He did absolutely horrible at the redemption duel. Flopdot legit got a better time than him! Techno has been the first boot twice. *clap clap*

Kronny played a pretty decent game in season 4. I brought him back thinking that he would do better. He ended up trading places with Epic after he was voted out. This disappointed me, as Kronny had a lot of potential. This poor decision led to his demise, as he lost the second redemption duel.

Flopdot got 18th place again. I brought him back hoping that his strategy had changed, but he still stayed his annoying self. He focused on connecting with the other tribe more, making many alliances with them. I'm actually surprised he survived so long on redemption island. I thought he would be out in the first duel for sure.

Amethyst was very bad at social integration. She didn’t talk to her tribe, and was constantly left out. No one had any connections with her, so no one had a problem with sending her to redemption island. She survived for two duels before being sent home. Amethyst was a very minor part of this season. She didn’t improve her game from season 1 at all.

Dee had absolutely no social or strategic game. He didn't attend the sessions, and didn't talk to his tribe. He was good at competitions, though, as he did pretty good on redemption island for a little while.

I didn’t really see Angel play much of a game. She was just betrayed by the majority alliance and voted out unanimously. She was bitter when she was voted out. She exposed a few people’s games, making everyone hate her. She did pretty good at duel island, but it wasn’t good enough to reenter the game.

Mike ruined his own game. He made a dumb move that destroyed his chances. He was in the majority alliance on Tadhana at the start of the game, but he helped Albert by telling him to play his idol. The rest of the alliance lost their trust in Mike, and even was going to vote him out before Albert. If Tadhana had gone to tribal again before the swap, Mike would’ve be sent to redemption island then for sure. Mike was again put on the bottom after the swap, and it didn’t take him long to be voted out. He lost the first duel he competed in. I’d say he played a pretty bad game, considering the fact that I didn’t really see him strategizing at all.

Military only went to two tribal councils. He was in the majority alliance on the original Tadhana, but he was screwed over by the swap. I actually thought he would reenter through redemption island. He made it to the last duel before the merge, but lost it and left the game. I would like to see him play again sometime. I truly think he was robbed.

Albert was extremely lucky. He found an idol at the first session and used it to save himself. He became a huge target, but was immune until the swap. The final 5 of swapped Galang hatched a plan to keep them all safe, but the plan ended up not working, and Albert was voted out, as he was a clear outsider. Albert played a smart and strategic game that was really fun to watch. I would like to see him back for another season in the future. I think he’d play a better game if he wasn’t on the bottom from the start.

Diego had a pretty good run over his two seasons. He was extremely aware voting correctly at 14/15 tribal councils he attended across both seasons. Diego played a pretty strategic game, and was stabbed in the back by his loved one, Emilee. I actually thought that Diego was going to make the final 3 again. Once he joined the jury, my perception of him changed. I saw him as annoying and a jerk.

Epic was idoled out at the first full out tribal council that his tribe attended. His loved one, Kris, gave him a second chance, trading places with him. Epic seemed to be in a very good spot throughout the pre-merge. He was in a position of power, and was only voted out at the merge since his swapped tribe was down in numbers. He seemed like a really good social player, and I really wish I got to see more of him.

Otek was pretty inactive. She missed 3 sessions without voting lists. She rarely talked to her tribemates and only sent one message in her confessional throughout the whole season. "I like eating flies." She was voted out of Tadhana almost instantly, and only survived because she beat Popdot in a duel. Multiple people throughout the season tried to portray Otek as a huge threat to take the targets off their own backs. I was severely underwhelmed by her performance. I just wish she tried harder.

Sammy played the same villainous game that he played in season 1. He was always looking to cause drama and small inconveniences. In season 1, this was mostly using idol shards to blindside his targets. This season, he stepped up his game, throwing competitions and causing chaos. He actually kinda reminds me of Tyson from Survivor.

Based on Brent's application and early confessionals, I predicted that Brent would make it further than any of the other new players. He made it pretty far, but didn't fully live up to my expectations. Brent was dedicated and put hard work into his gameplay. He was a voice of reason throughout the jury, and was really enjoyable to watch throughout the season. Even though he forgot about his confessional for a portion of the game, he was one of my favorites to watch.

Pie was invisible to me for most of the pre-merge. She didn't use her confessionals, so I just had to make assumptions about what she was doing based on who she voted. She also was immune for most of the pre-merge, only losing two tribal immunity challenges. Once the merge came around, she was seen as a flipper, as she blindsided her main alliance. I just wish she used her confessional so I could see the moves she made.

Cookie has the honor of being the first person to be voted out 3 times in one season. Cookie played an amazing game that surprised me. She was on the bottom the entire time, and it was a change of pace from when she ran season 4. Cookie had a massive target from day 1 for being the only previous winner in the season. She voted with the majority alliance on Galang until they stabbed her in the back. Dee gave her another chance, swapping places with her. Cookie again voted with the majority on her new tribe until she was idoled out by Jira. She fought her way back in through redemption. When the merge came around, she was automatically put on the bottom. At the final 9, Cookie was allied with Monkey and Brent. They were in the minority, but had a total of 3 idols. They got 3 people to flip, putting themselves in the majority. At the final 5, Brent and Monkey flipped on Cookie. Cookie took action and voted Brent out with Emilee and Atlas. When Jira came back through redemption, Cookie’s fate was sealed. She was a huge threat Jira used his power of persuasion to take credit for Cookie's vote. At the final tribal council, she was extremely persuasive, hyping up Monkey and Emilee’s games. I think this season was a fairly humbling experience for her.

Atlas played a much better game in season 8 than he did in season 7. He was in the majority Galang alliance, and had a lot of power. He voted with the majority at almost every tribal council he went to. He was well liked by his fellow castaways, and had a great chance of winning if he got to the end. He played an under the radar game until around the final 8, where he made multiple moves, flipping at all the right points. He worked behind the scenes with Jira, masterminding a lot of their moves. Even though his confessionals weren’t fully consistent, his game was still entertaining to watch.

Jira played an outstanding game. He played smarter and harder this time around, taking a lot more risks. Even though Atlas masterminded a handful of these moves, Jira was the flashier player. He made it seem like he was controlling. Jira started out by joining the majority Galang alliance. He got the alliance to flip on Cookie, burning the bridge between them. He successfully used an idol to save himself from the vote. After voting her out twice, he was arguably the biggest threat in the game. In the merge, he played both sides. He was close with everyone, and caused blindsided almost every vote. Jira was the reason for the EOE-like fluidity that this season’s gameplay had. He was such a big threat that he was voted out unanimously. He fought his way back through redemption, gaining insight from the future jurors along the way. Once he came back into the game, he took out Cookie for the third time. He persuaded Monkey to vote with him at the final 4, forcing a fire-making duel. Jira played an amazing game, but burned too many bridges to win. He was robbed like Aubry in Kaôh Rōng.

As far as I know, Emilee was a bad player. She never approached anyone and never knew where the votes were going. She only got jury votes because people like Diego and Cookie were trying to hype her up just so Jira wouldn’t win.

Monkey played an amazing social game. He formed genuine bonds with everyone. He also had 2 idols, both of which he held onto until the final 5. From the beginning, he was in the majority. His partner, Popdot, was the first person sent to redemption island. In the merge, he was put on the bottom with Brent and Cookie. The three of them persevered and stuck together. They came out on top, all making the first final 5. Monkey and Brent then tried to turn on Cookie, seeing that she was a threat to win. It backfired, and Brent was taken out. Monkey was then shielded when Jira returned, as him and Cookie were both flashier players with bigger targets. Monkey won the final four immunity, securing himself a spot at the final tribal council. He probably would’ve been voted out if he didn’t do this. In the final 3, the jury rewarded praised Monkey for his social skills and his ability to hang onto his idols.
