Episode 1: I Deserve This
20 returning players came back for season 5. Dean, Amv, Mike, Lost, and Jamix were brought back from season 1. Nerf, Jira, Drake, Reid, and Isa were brought back from season 2. Ben, Lovey, Julie, Craft, and Potato were brought back from season 3. Nat, Nancy, Jakk, Drew, and Icey were brought back from season 4. They were divided randomly into 2 tribes of 10. The cast voted for Jakk to receive the Legacy Idol. Nerf found the Faola idol. In the sword fight immunity challenge, Talana beat Faola with half their members still alive afterward. There was no drama at the Faola camp. Everyone was calm. At tribal, Julie was sent home in a 5-2-1-1 vote. Potato received 2 votes. Ben and Jamix each received 1 vote. The next immunity challenge was an obby. The first tribe to get 2 members to the end would win. Reid from Faola finished first. Dean and Nancy from Talana then finished, sending Faola to tribal council again. Just like the first tribal council, everyone was calm. There was no drama. Potato was sent packing with a 6-1-1 vote. Ben and Jamix each received one vote. Amv found the Talana idol. The 18 castaways were then swapped onto 3 tribes. Lovey, Amv, Dean, Ben, Drew, and Mike were placed on Faola. Nancy, Reid, Alt, Jira, Nerf, and Lost were placed on Talana. Isa, Craft, Jamix, Icey, Jakk, and Drake were placed on Mota Mota.
Episode 2: The Exotic Island Of Moota Moota
The castaways arrived at their new beaches. Mota Mota looked for their idol, but Crafter ended up finding it. At the reward challenge, Mota Mota flopped and was the first tribe eliminated. A strategic play and a little bit of luck helped Talana win, and they got an advantage in the immunity challenge. At the immunity challenge Talana beat the other two tribes quickly using their advantage. Faola beat Mota Mota by about 20 seconds, sending them to tribal council. The new tribe of 6 quickly became 5 as Icey was sent packing in a vote of 4-1-1. Jamix and Crafter each received a vote.
Episode 3: It's Not About Participation, It's About Winning
Most of the cast came to this session. The immunity challenge was a season 4 classic. The tribes would each be put in separate boxes. They would have 6 minutes to turn as many tiles from white to black. The tribe with the most white tiles after the time was up would go to tribal council. Talana came in first with a low score of 23 white tiles left over. Faola and Mota Mota were close, but Faola had 48 while Mota Mota had 50. At tribal council, Crafter played his idol. Jamix was given the boot in a vote of 2-1-1. Jakk and Cass each received a vote. Mota Mota reversed their curse at the hot potato reward challenge, coming in first. They received a 1 point advantage in the sword duel immunity challenge. After the three duels, Faola had 2 points while Talana and Mota Mota had 1 each. In the tiebreaker duel, Cass stabbed Nerf to death, sending Talana to tribal council. At the final tribal before the second tribe swap, Nancy was removed from the island in a 4-1-1 vote. Jira and Nerf each received a vote. The second tribe swap of the season happened, sending the castaways into a frenzy. Amv, Dean, Lost, Drew, Nerf, Ben, and Lovey were placed on Faola. Mike, Jira, Crafter, Drake, Nat, Cass, and Jakk were placed on Talana. Dark was sent to exile island in the Mota Mota camp.
Episode 4: Time To Die :)
The session started out with an announcement from Ben. He announced that he would be walking from the season. Dark replaced him on Faola. The final 14 competed in a color puzzle challenge. The top two scores from each tribe would be added together. Drew and Nerf from Faola got a better combined score than Jira and Cassidy from Talana, sending them to vote out one of their own. When tribal council came around, it was clear who the target was, as Jira was sent to the jury in a 5-2 vote. Drake received the other 2 votes.
Episode: 5: I Don’t Care If I Make You Mad
Dean from Faola and Cassidy from Talana competed for a tribal reward. Dean beat Cassidy in the ball dropping duel, earning the reward. At the immunity challenge, Faola’s reward didn’t help them, as they lost 2-1. At tribal council, a lot of drama went down. Nerf wasted his idol on Dean, negating no votes. There was a 3-3 tie between Lovey and Drew, sending home Amv in a rock draw. The final 12 were then merged. It was announced that a special advantage would be placed somewhere at camp.
Episode 6: The Terrifying Tiebreaker
Nerf found the tiebreaker advantage. In the immunity challenge, Craft, Nerf, Dean, Lost, Reid, and Cass all moved onto the final round. Reid and Dean proceeded to win immunity, climbing their poles the fastest. At tribal, Nerf played his tiebreaker advantage. It didn't matter though, as he was sent home in a 5-4-1-1 vote. Drake received 4 votes while Drew and Lost each received 1. Back at camp, Dean then found the newly hidden tiebreaker advantage. Lost won the immunity challenge with a score of 62/64. At tribal, Dean played the new tribe swap advantage. There was a vote of 3-3-2-1-1. Drake and Cass were tied with 3 votes each. Reid had two votes while Dean and Lovey each had one. With the tiebreaker advantage, Dean voted out Cass, sparing Drake.
Episode 7: At Knight, We Strike
In the "Knight Moves" immunity challenge, Drew landed on a special tile and chose to eliminate Lost from the challenge. Drake landed on a special tile and teleported across the map. Drake then proceeded to win immunity and a clue to the location of the tiebreaker advantage. Tribal was chaos. A few people were running around. The votes were extremely messy, with 6/9 of the unexempt castaways receiving votes. Jakk played his legacy idol on Lost, nullifying 1 vote. There was a 3-2-1-1-1-1 vote sending Dean packing. Crafter received 2 votes while Mike, Lost, Reid, and Lovey each received 1. Before heading to Ponderosa, Dean announced that Drake's clue stated that the tiebreaker advantage was located at tribal council, with that, the final 9 sprung into action, all looking for the legacy idol.
Episode 8: Running 'Till I Die
The final 9 competed in a treadmill-type reward challenge. Mike ended up winning a huge advantage in the immunity challenge. He went on to win immunity, securing himself a spot in the final 8. At tribal council, there was a suspenseful 3-2-2-1 vote, sending Jakk to the jury. Lost and Nat each received 2 votes. Drake received 1.
Episode 9: Dead Silent
The Survivor classic immunity challenge, "Get A Grip", tested the final eight's skill and determination. Lost ended up winning. At tribal council, there was a 4-3 vote, sending Drake home. Crafter got the other 3 votes. Reid announced that he was quitting the game. Drake and Reid became jurors #5 and #6.
Episode 10: Preparing For The Worst
The survivor auction happened! Mike bid his money on a clue to the tiebreaker advantage. Nat bid her money on advantages for the next challenge. Craft bid his money on an advantage in the final 5 immunity challenge. Lost bid her money on sending someone back to camp. She chose Mike. Mike bids 25 on tiebreaker advantage clue. Lovey bid her money on a piece of information. She learned that there would be a final 2. Without warning, the auction stopped. Nat's advantages gave her 3 points in total to start off the challenge. The first person to get 10 questions right would win. Lost and Nat ended with 10 points each. Drew and Lovey ended with 9 points each. Crafter ended with 7 points. Mike ended with 3 points. There was a tiebreaker between Nat and Lost. Lost beat Nat, earning immunity. Drew found the tiebreaker advantage. He played it at tribal, but it didn't matter, as he was sent home in a 3-2-1 vote. Nat recieved 2 votes while Lovey recieved 1. In the immunity challenge, the first to collect 5 blocks of their color won immunity. Craft had one to start out due to her advantage. Lost won the challenge quickly, earning immunity for the third time in a row. Mike was unanamously sent packing in a 4-1 vote. In the final four immunity challenge, everyone except Craft fell off almost instantly, giving her immunity. Nat was sent to ponderosa in a 2-1-1 vote. Lovey and Lost each recieved a vote. It was then revealed to Lost and Craft that there would be a final 2. Lost won the final immunity challenge and brought Lovey with her to the end, sending Craft to the jury. Lost and Lovey competed in one more challenge. The winner could eliminate one person from the jury. Lost won her 6th individual challenge and chose to eliminate Cassidy from the jury. By vote of 6-3 Lost won Survivor: Second Chance over Lovey. Lost also won Host’s Favorite Player.
